North Wales: The price of neglect
No. 19 July 2005
In this issue we consider the problems that face the heritage in North Wales, which has a wealth of listed historic buildings, from castles and country houses to traditional stone cottages. Sadly, a fair number of these are at risk, including three Grade I-listed nineteenth-century houses. We highlight the problems which led to their decline and the urgent need to find some solutions.
