Pub crawl: Brompton to Belgravia

Monday 27 March — Sold out
6.30pm to about 8.30pm. Geoff Brandwood leads a crawl of three or four Victorian pubs.

We start at the Bunch of Grapes, Brompton Road, which retains a good deal of its very interesting late Victorian fittings. Then on to the Paxton’s Head, Knightsbridge, a lavish pub of 1900-2, followed by the Star, a Belgravia mews pub with some interior historic survivals. If time allows we will go on to another mews pub, the Grenadier, Wilton Place, near Hyde Park Corner Underground station. Meet at the Bunch of Grapes, 207 Brompton Road, London SW3 1LA. Tube: Knightsbridge; South Kensington. £11. Booking required.*
