An illustrated talk by Richard Fletcher of the Edgar Wood Society; Tuesday 31st October 2017

Frank Brookhouse Dunkerley was a prominent Manchester Arts and Crafts architect in the early years of the twentieth century. Not as well-known to us as some of his contemporaries, his work has been acclaimed firstly by Nikolaus Pevsner and recently by Barry & Wendy Armstrong. The talk will give details of his career both in architecture and public life, and will include many illustrations of his buildings
