A new lease of life for London’s historic concrete house

Friday 29 May 2009: Plans to restore the only known Victorian house made largely of concrete have been welcomed by the Victorian Society.

Clitheroe’s historic workhouse saved from demolition

Thursday 28 May 2009: Councillors in Lancashire have rejected a proposal to demolish Clitheroe workhouse and build 52 homes on the site.
