Extension plans for listed Louisa Ryland House opposed

Friday 29 January 2016: The Victorian Society is objecting to Graftongate Properties’ plans for a double height roof extension for Grade II listed Louisa Ryland House in the centre of Birmingham

Stop the ‘Paddington Pole’!

Friday 22 January 2016: The Victorian Society is strongly objecting to plans to demolish the former Royal Mail sorting office to build the 72 storey ‘Paddington pole’. The proposals entail the complete loss of the existing handsome building and would cause ‘substantial harm’ to the setting of nearby listed buildings and the conservation area.

Historic London buildings set for demolition under Crossrail 2 plans

Sunday 3 January 2016: Imposing buildings in Victoria, off Oxford Street and Wimbledon are among those which may be lost. The public has until Friday 8 January 2016 to examine maps of the areas under threat and respond to the consultation.
