Viennese Cafe exhibition at the Royal College of Art

This autumn the Royal Collge of Art hosts 'Vienna Cafe 1900', an exhibition exploring the culture and design of the Viennese coffeehouse around the turn of the last century.
Evoking the environment of the old Viennese coffeehouses through displays of historical photographs, graphics, film, sound and other ephemera, the exhibition will give visitors the chance to explore the cultural phenomenon which did so much to shape European modernity.
