1901 An 1890s House in Clapham

Thursday 24 January 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM

Price for single delegate: £0.00

Although tens of thousands of middle class terraced houses were built in London at the end of the 19th century, very few have retained their character and fittings through changes in fashion and the ravages of time. This is a rare chance to see the colourful and atmospheric interiors of such an 1890s house in Clapham, along with the collection of antique, arts and crafts and contemporary furnishings which the owners have built up over twenty-five years. There will be an introductory talk and a tour, ending with wine and nibbles. The address will be given in a reminder email which will be sent a few days before the event. Tube: Clapham South (Northern line) followed by a 10-minute walk. £17. Booking required.*
