Annual General Meeting

The 59th Annual General Meeting of the Birmingham and West Midlands Group of The Victorian Society will be held at 10.30 am on Saturday 14th February 2026 at The Birmingham & Midland Institute, Birmingham.
During the meeting, we will hear the reports of the executive officers and make any re-appointments to the Regional Executive Committee.
Any member wishing to serve on the Regional Executive Committee should contact the Honorary Secretary, Akil Dowe, or download and fill out the Nomination Form shown on the papers page and return it to him, no later than 11th February 2026.
We will also hear about the winner of the 2025 Conservation Award, which is once again sponsored by Hortons’ Estate Ltd.
After the AGM there will be a Presentation by various members of the Society of casework research they have undertaken on buildings in Walsall town centre.
Complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided for the meeting and available from 10.00 a.m. If any member wishes to have lunch in the café, the Institute has suggested pre-ordering before the AGM to avoid any delay at lunch time.
