Events

In order to guide you when deciding which events are suitable for your degree of mobility, we have introduced a star rating system. The number of stars at the end of the description of each event indicates the accessibility of the event. No star – minimum amount of walking or standing; one star – some walking and standing, including for long periods; two stars – a lot of walking or steep climbs.

Some of our events are unsuitable for children. If you have any special needs or ideas about how we can improve our events, please let us know.

Participants are reminded that the Victorian Society excludes, to the fullest extent permitted by law, liability of any kind however caused. The Victorian Society reserves the right to cancel, alter or postpone events if necessary.

Cancellations

No refunds will be given for events costing £10 or less, but as a courtesy to others we ask that you let us know if you cannot attend an event for which you have a ticket. In other cases, cancellations will be accepted and fees returned up to a month before the date of an event, but will be subject to a £10 deduction per ticket for administrative costs. Separate arrangements may apply for weekend visits and foreign tours and terms will be clearly stated on the printed details in each case.
