Regional Groups

Find out what’s happening in your area.

Our membership has always been strong in the areas where the Victorians and Edwardians built on the successes of the Industrial Revolution. Our Regional Groups can be found in the great cities and towns that grew up in England and in Wales during Victoria and Edward’s reigns. Where Victorians and Edwardians built civic and religious masterpieces to reflect their mercantile successes, there are amazing houses, industrial buildings, railway stations, and structures that now need protection too.

Our Regional Groups have fought – across the decades since the Society was founded – successful battles to preserve and list buildings and structures of which they are rightly proud. Victorian and Edwardian buildings are historically underlisted and we work across the Society to identify and seek listing to afford a degree of protection.

The Regional Groups all run programmes of events which are open to the public, members and non-members, wherever they live. Get involved with your Regional Group today to support our work locally and nationally. There has never been a greater need to get involved with preserving the heritage buildings around you. Contact your Group today. All groups have mailing lists open to anyone. We encourage you to come to events and then join the Society.
