In this introduction, June Lawrence (books) and Neil Jackson (buildings) will talk about Dublin’s Victorian and Edwardian litérati and the architecture of the city around which they, like Leopold Bloom and Stephen Dedalus, moved.
June Lawrence leads the Victorian Society Short Story Reading Group and Professor Neil Jackson is a Trustee of the Victorian Society.
This will prepare viewers for the Victorian Society’s visit to Dublin on 5 to 7 June 2026.
