Vice President Sir David Cannadine and the The Victorian Society’s Birmingham and West Midland’s group presented the plaque to their 2020 Conservation Award winner on the 19th January 2024.
The pandemic had delayed a handover of the bronze disk and certificate for the exemplary sympathetic restoration of their head office, formerly known as the Little London School in Willenhall. The restoration, carried out by Tweedale Architects, transformed the 1883 building from a derelict and rotting structure on the brink of total demolition to a versatile and imaginative space.
