Visit the Victorian Society’s listed HQ as part of Open House Festival 2025

Saturday 13th September 2025

We are opening our listed offices as part of this year’s Open House Festival. The Victorian Society are based in Bedford Park in Chiswick. The building is Grade II, built in 1880 and designed by E. J. May. We are just a couple of minutes walk away from Turnham Green tube.

No need to book a ticket, just drop-in between 11.00 am and 5.00 pm on Saturday 13th September. Read more about our open day here.

Combine your visit to the Victorian Society’s office at 1 Priory Gardens with a visit to the Chiswick Book Festival which is taking place over the same weekend.

Our Communications and Media Manager looks after the press and marketing for the Society. Marie works alongside our Director and Conservation Advisers to protect Victorian and Edwardian buildings and structures in England and Wales. She runs the Top Ten Endangered Buildings campaign each year from nomination stage through to placing stories in the media. Marie also sits on the LISSCA Committee and works promoting our campaigns. She also looks after the monthly newsletter.
