The Victorian Society is looking for an Evaluation Consultant to support the monitoring and impact evaluation of our project funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund: Capacity Building for a Sustainable Future.
Made possible with the support from NLHF, the two-year project is to increase our resilience as an organisation by increasing our reach of memberships programmes and fundraising activities, including:
- Hire of two new fundraising roles to action fundraising objectives
- Strategic governance review
- Fundraising and membership recruitment strategy plan, and development of a Fundraising Committee
- New impact report
- Workshop series to raise awareness of the importance of Victorian & Edwardian buildings, and how to care for them
- End of Project evaluation
We are looking to appoint a consultant with experience in working on NLHF funded projects to support us on strategic and engagement activities, and to analyse and write up a report on the impact of the project, which takes place between 2025-2027.
Key deliverables include:
- Support our strategic review including consultation, a governance review, full trustee training, and staff upskill
- Support and advise us on devising engagement and fundraising activities, such as workshops and outreach
- Lead on the design and delivery of the Evaluation Report, which covers an analysis on the overall impact of the project, a business plan for the retention of the two fundraiser roles, review of fundraising strategies, analysis of how the project improved access and diversity of our work, lessons learned and a follow up plan for after the project
The evaluation process and report should be in line with the current NLHF guidance. Travel may be required to attend meetings at our office at Turnham Green, London.
Maximum budget £12,000 including expenses, but excluding VAT.
