Whilst the London-based Art Workers’ Guild is well known, the history of the Northern Art Workers’ Guild in Manchester has been largely untold – until now. Barry Clark will explore the Guild in the context of the Arts & Crafts movement in Manchester (another untold story).
Barry Clark is the lead author of the recently published study The Northern Art Workers’ Guild, with co-authors Stephanie Boydell and Richard Fletcher, and foreword by Dr Julian Holder.
