The Victorian Society’s West Midlands Conservation Adviser Tim Bridges worked on this listing to achieve listed status for this fine house, he said,

“Tettenhall Court is one of the finest Arts and Crafts houses in Wolverhampton. The house was completed in 1914 to designs by local architect William Weller and retains a wealth of original features including the staircase, fireplaces and plasterwork. It is currently on the market and we are delighted that our application to Historic England has been successful and the building awarded grade II listed status. Back in 2008 we also succeeded in getting The Grove in Stourbridge, another Weller house listed, and together these houses reflect the national significance of Weller’s buildings with their beautiful timberwork and fine interiors.”
